In Loving Memory of Travis Virginia Lilly... (Sept. 29, 1915 - Dec. 25, 2004)

"The Lilly Country Inn", an 1890 farm house, has some of the most SPECTACULAR views overlooking the Blue Ridge and the Massanutten Mountains! The views just take your breath away!!! All we can say is "WOW, this is our home!!!" Take a peek at what beautiful scenery awaits us when we wake each morning! Don't you wish it could be YOU, sipping on your morning coffee, while watching the sun rise over the Blue Ridge Mountains?! Or YOU, drinking a nice iced tea, while watching the sunset over the Massanutten Mountains?! We are very thankful for the wonderful blessings that have been bestowed upon us!

This is a shot of our newly landscaped front yard. Aren't the Blue Ridge Mountains just gorgeous! A perfect view for anyone who loves swinging on the front porch! You remember those days at Grandma's and Grandpa's House, don't you? The sights are truly amazing! You just will not believe your eyes! It's like having our very own outdoor living room!

This is a beautiful shot of the western side of the front yard. The shrubbery is flourishing! Vivid shades of green and gold brighten the path leading you to the front door. Along the way, you will pass a lovely birdbath. It's the perfect spot for our fine feathered friends to stop in and rest for a spell. They can get a nice cold drink of water and take a dip to fluff their feathers and cool off from the long hot day!

The Lilly Country Inn rests along a serene stretch of 18.341 acres of woods and rolling farmland in the heart of rural Rockingham County. Whenever we think about "The Lilly Country Inn", images of "The Waltons" or "Little House on the Prarie" come to mind. That peaceful, loving feeling that fills your soul. That's the feeling of being home! This home is special to us as well, because of its former owners. Especially, Travis.

The charm of The Lilly Country Inn can be experienced across the land, including our very own natural "Spring!" This Spring was used for drinking water by the original owners, Travis, Aldine & Webb ! This beautiful country property also has a year round stream flowing through it. I recall many childhood trips to this creek with my sisters and brothers. We would all try to see who could catch the biggest crayfish! What fun that was!
